Jets Head Coach Adam Gase stated that Perriman and QB Sam Darnold have quickly developed a nice chemistry in camp. Darnold would also say that Perriman is super explosive and everything you want in a receiver. The two have connected on a few deep touchdowns already in camp.
The wide out missed practice Sunday due to a sore knee. However, Head Coach Adam Gase expects Perriman to return to practice Monday.
Perriman was forced from the game Sunday against the 49ers with an ankle injury. It has been a rough start to the 2020 for Perriman who battled knee swelling for the last few weeks of training camp.
