Current ADP: RB19 / 40.06 (NFFC)
DK Rushing Total Line: 1,000.50
Over the past few seasons Chris Carson has been one of those fantasy picks that isn't sexy but one that is effective for our fantasy teams. Carson is a running back who enters 2021 with that RB1 upside who we can get in that mid range RB2 price range (Round 4). Carson is the lead back on a Seahawks team which figures to once again be run heavy, which brings with it volume for Carson, this is why he offers that fringe RB1 upside. The problem I have with Carson is availability as he has missed five games over the past two seasons, four coming in 2020. This is why when I look at this rushing line it gives me some pause as his numbers suggest this should be an easy over having gone over this total two out of the last three seasons (18'- 1,151 and 19'- 1,230).
In 2020 Carson when in the line up ran very well ranking as the 11th RB with a minimum of 140 carries in yards per attempt. Carson also was tied with CEH as the 15th ranked RB in yards after contact per attempt, showing us that he isn't afraid to get every yard he can on every opportunity given. Despite this I am not a believer in Carson being able to stay healthy for the entire season, which ultimately has me betting the under on this total.
My Projection: 214 RA - 967 YDS - 6.6 TD's
How to Bet
-UNDER- 1,000.5 Rush Yards (-130)
